Cape Ann Symphony Holiday Concert

November 25
Christmas Parade & Kent Circle Tree Lighting
Parade begins at 3pm at the State Fish Pier, running through Main Street and ending at the Boulevard for the Annual Tree Lighting at Kent Circle at dusk. This year Gloucester’s Tree Lighting Ceremony features old favorites and new performers highlighting Gloucester’s diverse musical talent—a warm, friendly, family gathering to kick off holiday celebrations. Henri Smith and the Seaport Horns join the Fireman’s Band, Brownie and Girl Scout troupes and soloist Christina Grecci in music and song.

Rocky Neck Goes to Town - Meet the Artists Reception
Enjoy a fun, festive reception for the Rocky Neck Art Colony's Winter Exhibit, Rocky Neck Goes to Town, at 117 Main Street in Gloucester from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Rocky Neck Art Colony is coming to downtown Gloucester for its third annual winter exhibit and sale from November 23 through December 23, at 117 Main Street in downtown Gloucester.
The exhibit will be open Mon-Wed, 10 am to 6 pm, Thu-Sat, 10 am to 9 pm and Sundays from noon to 6 pm.

Seasonal Sensations by the Sea Auction

The Court Jesters!
The Gloucester Superior Officers Association will host a benefit comedy basketball game, featuring The Court Jesters! on Saturday, December 1, at 7pm in the field house at Gloucester High School. For information, contact John McCarthy at 978-282-7650. Proceeds from the evening will benefit a variety of community organizations.

Ladies' Night
A special evening for women shoppers, including refreshments and drawings for gift certificates in many stores. Performance by the Cape Ann Jazz Band along Main Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Handel's Messiah
Chorus North Shore Celebrates the Holiday Season with a performance of Handel's Messiah, the world's most beloved oratorio. 2pm at Fuller School. Tickets: $20 General Admission, $17 Seniors and Students. www.chorusnorthshore.org

Men's Night
A shopping evening designed with a man's shopping needs in mind.
Refreshments and drawings for gift certificates in many stores.

Holiday Delights
GLOUCESTER STAGE COMPANY'S Youth Acting Workshop presents "HOLIDAY DELIGHTS," a showcase of student talent December 20-23, featuring students 6 to 15 years old from the Summer and Fall Youth Acting Workshops. $12 General Admission, $10 Seniors, $6 Students, $4 Children under 12.
