Walkin’ on Sunshine

April 10th 7:30 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church, Rockport
April 11th 4:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Gloucester

SORELLANZA, the local women’s a cappella chorus, will delight audiences once again with their spring 2010 concert series. Patti Pike directs the singers with a varied and eclectic program including songs from many genres and countries. From well-known gospel favorites to Broadway love songs, Sorellanza’s hour of song will leave you walking with a lighter step. The themes of imagination, dreams and divine blessings include Spanish poetry put to music, Gershwin ballads, and one of Pike’s own arrangements. The 14-member group exudes enthusiasm and love for music thanks to the seemingly boundless energy of Ms. Pike. Don’t miss Sorellanza in their 7th season!
